Ferrum

Ferrum is a collection of apartments, residents' facilities and communal gardens adjacent to the National Stadium at Wembley, London

Ferrum is a residential-led, mixed-use neighbourhood comprising nearly 900 homes, 30% of which are affordable, alongside 400 sq m of commercial uses and a series of public and private open spaces. The new buildings form a key gateway from Wembley Stadium station into Wembley Park, the largest build-to-rent project in the UK with 5,000 homes due for completion by 2024.

A warehouse aesthetic was developed for the project for the client Quintain, which was carried through into the interior design to provide a distinctive and contemporary 'industrial chic' look and feel to the apartments and communal spaces, and ensure that the project stands out from its competitors. The following key elements help contribute to the overall effect:

*Ross's involvement at Ferrum was as the partner-in-charge of the project at JTP Architects. Ross led the project and was directly responsible for the interior design and the building layouts*
